- PEANUT BUTTER BOWL - OUTREACH EFFORTS MOBILIZED COACHES AND VOLUNTEERS TO PUBLICIZE AND INCREASE SUPPORT FOR COMMUNITY PROGRAMS PROVIDING FOOD FOR CHRONICALLY HUNGRY YOUTHS AND FAMILIES ACROSS SOUTH AND CENTRAL TEXAS. IN 2024 THE PROGRAM EXPANDED, AND 104 HIGH SCHOOL COACHES DESIGNATED THEIR OPENING FOOTBALL GAMES AS PEANUT BUTTER BOWLS. WITH THEIR LEADERSHIP, SUPPORTERS COLLECTED JARS OF PEANUT BUTTER, A STAPLE IN FOOD PANTRIES AND AN EXCELLENT SOURCE OF PROTEIN. DONATIONS TO MORE THAN 40 LOCAL HUNGER RELIEF ORGANIZATIONS TOTALED 57.5 TONS (115,000 POUND-JARS OR CASH EQUIVALENTS), VALUED AT MORE THAN 287,000. GRANTS OF 49,780 WERE DISTRIBUTED AMONG 37 ORGANIZATIONS TO PURCHASE FOOD TO FIT THEIR INDIVIDUAL COMMUNITIES' UNIQUE NEEDS.Expenses $120,562 · grants $49,780
