Program accomplishments

  • THE RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE (RMH) AT OKLAHOMA CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL IS A WELCOMING "HOME-AWAY-FROM-HOME" WHICH PROVIDES TEMPORARY LODGING, MEALS, AND SUPPORT TO FAMILIES OF HOSPITALIZED CHILDREN. THE RONALD MCDONALD FAMILY ROOM (RMFR) LOCATED ON THE 6TH FLOOR OF OKLAHOMA CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL SERVES AS A PLACE OF RESPITE, JUST STEPS AWAY FROM WHERE THEIR CHILD IS BEING TREATED. THE RMFR PROVIDES PARENTS WITH AN OPPORTUNITY TO REST, HAVE A SNACK OR HAVE A MOMENT OF QUIET, SO THEY CAN PROVIDE COMFORT AND SUPPORT TO THEIR CHILD AND BE AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF THEIR CHILD'S HEALTHCARE TEAM.
