- SERVING AS A LINK BETWEEN LOUISIANA TECH UNIVERSITY, A STATE SUPPORTED SCHOOL, AND ITS ALUMNI AND FRIENDS THROUGH SOLICITING MEMBERS (NUMBER OF MEMBERS: 1,807). ALUMNI AND FRIENDS ARE INFORMED OF CURRENT EVENTS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY THROUGH NEWSLETTERS, LOCAL CHAPTER MEETINGS, AND OTHER GATHERINGS.
