Mission
THE CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF NATURAL FAMILY PLANNING (CANFP) PROMOTES AND SUPPORTS THE USE OF NATURAL FAMILY PLANNING. THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IS TO UNITE USERS, PROVIDERS, AND ADVOCATES OF ALL METHODS OF NATURAL FAMILY PLANNING, RESPECTING DIFFERENCES IN METHODOLOGIES AND FOCUSING ON COMMON GOALS IN A MULTI-CULTURAL AND NON-SECTARIAN CONTEXT, WORKING COLLABORATIVELY TO EDUCATE THE LARGE COMMUNITY ON THE BENEFITS OF NATURAL FAMILY PLANNING.
Program accomplishments
- CANFP EDUCATES AND SUPPORTS THOSE INTERESTED IN NATURAL FAMILY PLANNING, AS WELL AS THOSE PROFESSIONALLY INVOLVED, THROUGH EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND SERVICES, IN PERSON, ELECTRONICALLY, AND THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA. CANFP PROJECTS INCLUDE: * PRODUCE AND DISTRIBUTE BY MAIL ELECTRONICALLY, AND THROUGH EXHIBIT OUTREACH, AS WELL AS VIA WEBSITE, QUARTERLY EDITIONS OF NEWSLETTER, CANFP NEWS. 2,000 PRINT EDITIONS WERE DISTRIBUTED IN 2025.* PROVIDE EXHIBIT EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH AT EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE STATE.* PROVIDE INFORMATION AND CONSULTS VIA PHONE, EMAIL, WEBSITE, SOCIAL MEDIA, AND EXHIBIT OUTREACH.* 28,000 VISITORS ANNUALLY TO CANFP.ORG ALONE IN 2025, IN ADDITION TO VISITORS TO CELEBRATEHV.COM AND YOU TUBE CHANNEL.
