Mission
THE PURPOSE OF THE TENNESSEE STATE EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION IS TO ENCOURAGE THE DEVELOPMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF AN EFFECTIVE AND EFFICIENT WORKFORCE FOR THE STATE OF TENNESSEE.

- ADVOCACY SERVICES- THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES LEGISLATIVE SUPPORT FOR MEMBERS BY COMMUNICATING WITH STATE LEGISLATORS AND COMMUNICATING WITH THE ORGANIZATIONS MEMBERS REGARDING ISSUES THAT ARE IMPORTANT TO IT MEMBERS
- MEMBERSHIP REPRESENTATION- THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES SUPPORT TO ITS MEMBERS REGARDING EMPLOYMENT MATTERS OF ITS MEMBERS RELATED TO COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS.
- MEMBERSHIP PROGRAMS AND DEVELOPMENT- THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES NEWSLETTERS, CHAPTER MEETINGS, ANNUAL CONVENTIONS AND OTHER AVENUES FOR ITS APPROXIMATELY 13,000 MEMBERS TO BETTER UNDERSTAND AND BE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE ISSUES FACING STATE EMPLOYEES.
