Program accomplishments

  • The organization has numerous care programs: Co-Occuring Program: The Co-occurring Program is a structured residential program that provides treatment for people who have a substance use and a mental health disorder, and are having difficulty managing both while in the community. Intensive Residential Program: The IR program is a highly structured treatment program for men and women experiencing significant dysfunction in their lives because of having a substance use disorder. Transitional Living Program: The emphasis of the Transitional Living program is continued recovery from substance use disorder and development of personal skills and resources required to maintain a sober and more independent lifestyle. Family members and significant others are encouraged to participate in treatment, educational, and support activities as an integral part of the client's treatment plan. Continuing Care: Aftercare plans help the person establish and maintain their recovery outside of the treatment setting. Each person is encouraged to attend weekly Aftercare meetings which are held on campus every Monday evening. Intensive Outpatient Program: Those who enter the Intensive Outpatient program may have a limited awareness of the impact that their substance use disorder has had on their lives. Some clients in IOP may have had treatment in the past and who have high relapse potential without close monitoring and structure. These clients may or may not have a mental health disorder. The people who attend IOP have a safe recovery environment and are often times employed. Family Program: Family members and/or significant others are encouraged to attend the Concerned Persons meetings. Through open and honest communication, family members and friends learn how to be supportive of their loved one without engaging in counter-productive enabling behaviors.
