THE PURPOSE OF THE KNOXVILLE MUSEUM OF ART IS TO SUPPORT AND PROMOTE PUBLIC INTEREST, AWARENESS, KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION IN THE VISUAL ARTS IN EAST TENNESSEE .
