BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF MIAMI IS THE PREMIER MENTORING ORGANIZATION THAT SEEKS TO CREATE AND SUPPORT ONE-TO-ONE MENTORING RELATIONSHIPS THAT IGNITE THE POWER AND PROMISE OF YOUTH.
Program accomplishments
- OVER 2600 YOUTH WERE MENTORED THROUGH PROGRAM INCLUDING COMMUNITY BASED MENTORSHIP, SCHOOL TO WORK, BIGS IN BLUE, SITE BASED MENTORING AS WELL AS GROUP ENGAGEMENT AND MENTORING THAT TAKES PLACE AT BBBS HQ. SUMMER AND SPRING BREAK CAMPS AREA ALSO OFFERED. PROGRAMMING FOCUSES ON ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT, CAREER PATHWAYS, DIGITAL LITERACY, HEALTH & WELLNESS AND MUSIC & THE ARTS AND OVER 1M IN SCHOLARSHIPS WERE PROVIDED TO "LITTLES"Expenses $7,121,059 · grants $630,544
