- THE BROWARD COUNTY FILM SOCIETY INC IN 2025 CONTINUED TO PROVIDE FOR ITS COMMUNITIES AND MEMBERS SCREENINGS OF NEW INDEPENDENT FILMS AT THREE THEATERS. THE FILM SOCIETY CONTINUES TO PRODUCE NEWS LETTERS FOR ITS MEMBERS AND OFFERS ITS THEATERS TO LOCAL GROUPS FOR A RENTAL FEE.Expenses $709,697 · revenue $563,766
- THE "FORT LAUDERDALE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL" (FLIFF) CONTINUED ITS INTERNATIONALLY RENOWED THREE WEEK FILM FESTIVAL. IN 2024 THE 39TH ANNUAL EVENT RAN FROM NOVEMBER 3 THROUGH NOVEMBER 16 SCREENING OVER 200 FILMS FROM 40 COUNTRIES. FLIFF ANNUALLY SPONSORS A STUDENT TO PROMOTE EDUCATION FOR POTENTIAL FILM MAKERS. IN 2025 THE 40TH ANNUAL FESTIVAL WAS RESCHEDULED TO FEBRUARY 2026.
- THE FILM SOCIETY RAN 2 ART HOUSE THEATERS THROUGHOUT 2022. ONE WAS CONDUCTED AT THE SAVOR CENTER IN WHICH 20,000 PARTICIPATED AND THE OTHER WAS HELD AT THE PARADISO CENTER IN WHICH OVER 8,000 PEOPLE ATTENDED.
