SINCE ITS CREATION IN 1974, SOUTH COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER, INC. "CENTER" HAS BROUGHT QUALITY MENTAL HEALTH AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE CARE TO OUR COMMUNITIES IN A MANNER WHICH ENHANCES AND PRESERVES HUMAN DIGNITY. THROUGH LOCAL SUPPORT, GUIDANCE AND COOPERATION, THE CENTER HAS BEEN ABLE TO ACHIEVE ITS PRIMARY PURPOSE OF SERVING PEOPLE OF ALL AGES

- MENTAL HEALTH - MEDICATION CLINIC & OUTPATIENT THERAPY SERVICES AT SOUTH COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER'S MEDICATION CLINIC, STAFF PSYCHIATRISTS PROVIDE EVALUATION AND TREATMENT TO OUTPATIENT CLIENTS. THE GOAL IS TO HELP CLIENTS MAINTAIN THEIR PROGRESS INTO WELLNESS THROUGH THE USE OF STATE-OF-THE-ART PSYCHOTROPIC MEDICATIONS. THE SOUTH COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER MEDICAL DEPARTMENT INCLUDES BOARD-CERTIFIED OR BOARD-ELIGIBLE PSYCHIATRISTS, ARNPS, REGISTERED NURSES AS WELL AS A FULL-SERVICE PHARMACY. OUTPATIENT THERAPY SERVICES ARE OFFERED TO ADULTS, ADOLESCENTS AND CHILDREN. SERVICES MAY BE PROVIDED IN AN INDIVIDUAL, FAMILY AND/OR GROUP SETTING.
