Mission
THE MISSION OF THE LEADERSHIP NORTH CAROLINA PROGRAM IS TO INFORM, DEVELOP AND ENGAGE COMMITTED LEADERS BY BROADENING THEIR UNDERSTANDING OF AND INVOLVEMENT IN ISSUES AND OPPORTUNITIES FACING OUR STATE.
Program accomplishments
- SEVEN MONTHLY, TWO-AND-A-HALF DAY SESSIONS GIVE PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS A BROADER UNDERSTANDING OF THE STATE WITH A FOCUS ON ISSUES AND OPPORTUNITIES IN THE AREAS OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, EDUCATION, ENVIRONMENT, GOVERNMENT, AND HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES, AND INCLUSIVE LEADERSHIP. 56 PARTICIPANTS ATTENDED THE PROGRAM DURING THE 2024/2025 YEAR.IN ADDITION TO THE PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS, 380 ATTENDEES PARTICIPATED IN CLASS 32, ALUMNI, AND REGIONAL EVENTS AND 164 ATTENDED LNC FORUM TO FURTHER AWARENESS OF THE ISSUES AND OPPORTUNITIES FACED BY THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA. IN ADDITION TO FORUM AND LNC'S CORE PROGRAMMING, 6 LEADERSHIP SESSIONS AND EVENTS WERE HELD DURING THE YEAR.Expenses $709,933 · grants $40,750 · revenue $403,917
