Mission
TO EXPOSE PERSECUTION (EPHESIANS 5:11), TO ASSIST THE VICTIMS OF PERSECUTION (JAMES 2:15-16),TO ENGAGE GODS PEOPLE TO INTERCEDE ON BEHALF OF THE PERSECUTED AND SUFFERING (ISAIAH 58:6-12), TO BRING ENCOURAGEMENT, CONSOLATION, AND HOPE TO THE PERSECUTED AND SUFFERING (2 CORINITHIANS 1), AND TO EFFECTIVELY BY WORD AND DEED COMMUNICATE THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST (1 JOHN 3:18).
Program accomplishments
- ADVOCACY AND GENERAL: PERSECUTION PROJECT IS A COMMUNITY DEDICATED TO EXPOSING INSTANCES OF CHRISTIAN PERSECUTION (EPHESIANS 5:11), ENGAGING FELLOW BELIEVERS TO INTERCEDE ON BEHALF OF THE PERSECUTED (ISAIAH 58:6-13), AND BRINGING ENCOURAGEMENT, CONSOLATION, AND HOPE TO OUR PERSECUTED BRETHREN (2 CORINTHIANS1). WE ENCOURAGE OUR DONORS TO INTERCEDE ON BEHALF OF THE PERSECUTED AND POOR AND INSPIRE THEM TO GET ACTIVE BY JOINING PERSECUTION PROJECT IN AN AREA WHERE IT SERVES THE PEOPLE OF SUDAN. OUR SUPPORTERS PARTNER WITH US BY STARTING WHERE THEY ARE, USING WHAT THEY HAVE, AND DOING WHAT THEY CAN. WHETHER ORGANIZING WALKS FOR WATER, ESTABLISHING PRAYER GROUPS, OR PRESENTING PERSECUTION PROJETS WORK BEFORE THEIR CIVIC GROUPS AND CHURCH CONGREGATIONS, MANY OF OUR SUPPORTERS BECOME ACTIVELY ENGAGED IN ADVOCATING FOR THE NEEDS OF THE SUDANESE PEOPLE. - TRANSPORTATION AND LOGISTICS (T&L): WORKING IN THE WAR-TORN NUBA MOUNTAINS REQUIRES THE USE OF A VARIETY OF LOCISTICAL TOOLS TO DELIVER SUPPLIES SAFELY AND EFFECTIVELY FOR OUR VARIOUS PROGRAM ACTIVITIES. DURING THE RAINY SEASON, ROADS IN THE NUBA MOUNTAINS BECOM IMPASSABLE TO EVEN THE HEAVIEST OF TRUCKS, SO QUAD BIKES AND MOTORBIKES ARE OFTEN EMPLOYED TO DELIVER MEDICINES AND OTHER EMERGENCY RELIEF SUPPLIES TO REMOTE CLINICS AND VILLAGES. IN AREAS WHERE INSECURITY EXISTS, THE SAFEST AVAILABLE MODE OF TRANSPORTTION IS FLIGHTS. THE USE OF CARGO PLANES MINIMIZES THE RISK OF INJURY TO OUR DRIVERS AND WORKERS BY AVOIDING ROADS THAT ARE PATROLLED BY BANDITS OR SOLDIERS. IN 2025, PERSECUTION PROJECT CONDUCTED EMERGENCY RELIEF FLIGHTS FACILITATING THE DELIVERY OF MORE THAN 120 METRIC TONS OF RELIEF TO THE NUBA MOUNTAINS, THE FLIGHTS BROUGHT IN MEDICINES AND MEDICAL SUPPLIES, HYGIENE KITS, BOREHOLE SPARE PARTS, HOSPITAL BUILDING MATERIALS, VEHICLE SPARE PARTS, FUEL, RELIEF PACKS, EMERGENCY THERAPEUTIC FOOD, TARPS, AUDIO BIBLES, MOTORBIKES FOR PASTORS, ETC. UNIMOG TRANSPORT TRUCKS CONTINUE TO BE USED TO FACILITATE DISTRIBUTION OF THE VITAL RELIEF SUPPLIES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, EVEN DURING THE RAINY SEASON. WITH ACCESS TO THE NUBA REGION YEAR-ROUND, PERSECUTION PROJECT HAS THE ABILITY TO BETTER COORDINATE OUTREACH ACTIVITIES IN A TIMELY FASHION AND WHEN THE NUBA PEOPLE NEED IT THE MOST.Expenses $905,557 · revenue $202,745
- MEDICAL SERVICES: CURRENTLY THE SPLM-N SECRETARIAT OF HEALTH ADMINISTRATES MEDICAL PROGRAMS IN 17 OF 19 COUNTIES OF THE STATE OF SOUTHERN KORDOFAN IN SUDAN. IN 2025, 235 REMOTE MEDICAL FACILITIES, INCLUDING SIX RURAL HOSPITALS, RECEIVED MEDICINES AND MEDICAL SUPPLIES FROM PERSECUTION PROJECT FOUNDATION. MEDICINES & SUPPLIES:AFTER WAR RETURNED TO THE NUBA IN 2011, ONE OF THE MOST CRITICAL SURVIVAL NEEDS IDENTIFIED BY PERSECUTION PROJECT WAS MEDICINE. WE DELIVERED OUR FIRST MAJOR CONSIGNMENT OF MEDICINE TO THE NUBA REGION IN 2012. WE HAVE CONTINUED PROVIDING THIS VITAL NECESSITY IN THE YEARS SINCE. IN 2025, PERSECUTION PROJECT PROVIDED THE NUBA MEDICAL CONSORTIUM (OVERSEEN BY THE LOCAL SECRETARIAT OF HEALTH) WITH ITS LARGEST CONTRIBUTION - OVER 80 PERCENT OF ALL MEDICINE DELIVERED TO SOUTHERN KORDOFAN. THIS MEDICAL CONSIGNMENT INCLUDED MEDICINES FOR RESPIRATORY ILLNESSES, ANTI-MALARIALS, ANTIBIOTICS, ANTI-FUNGALS, ANALGESICS, SYRINGES, MULTIVITAMINS, BANDAGES, AND OTHER MEDICAL SUPPLIES. PERSECUTION PROJECT ALSO DELIVERED SHIPMENTS OF THERAPEUTIC FOOD FOR USE IN TREATING THOSE SEVERELY WASTED (MOSTLY CHILDREN). HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATION: PERSECUTION PROJECT DIRECTLY SPONSORS THE ADMINISTRATION OF TWO HOSPITALS: TUJOR HOSPITAL IN DELLAMI COUNTY AND GIGAIBA REFERRAL HOSPITAL. PERSECUTION PROJECT PROVIDES MEDICINES, FUEL, AND FUNDS FOR STAFF SALARIES, CONSTRUCTION, ETC. TO TUJOR AND GIGAIBA. GIGAIBA ALONE TREATED MORE THAN 88,890 PATIENTS IN 2025. NUMBERS HAVE INCREASED DUE TO THE INFLUX OF MORE THAN 2.5 MILLION INTERNALLY DISPLACED PERSONS (IDPS) TO THE NUBA SINCE APRIL 2023. GIGAIBA HOSPITAL CONSTRUCTION & VOLUNTEER MEDICAL TEAMS: PERSECUTION PROJECT HAS BEEN SPONSORING THE CONSTRUCTION OF A VOLUNTEER MEDICAL UNIT AT GIGAIBA HOSPITAL TOWARD THE GOAL OF FACILITATING SHORT AND LONG TERM MEDICAL AND COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKERS. IN ADDITION TO BASIC CONSTRUCTION AT GIGAIBA REFERRAL HOSPITAL, PERSECUTION PROJECT ALSO SPONSORED MULTIPLE MEDICAL STAFF TRAINING EVENTS, AS WELL AS THE ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION FOR VSAT (SATELLITE INTERNET) THAT WE HAD EARLIER INSTALLED TO FACILITATE COMMUNICATION. GIGAIBA HOSPITAL SPIRITUAL DISCIPLESHIP: IN 2025, WORKING IN TANDEM WITH THE LOCAL CHURCH, PERSECUTION PROJECT CONTINUED A DISCIPLESHIP PROGRAM TO PROVIDE SPIRITUAL SERVICES TO THE HOSPITAL STAFF AND PATIENTS. ONCE PER WEEK, A TEAM OF TWO PASTORS VISITED THE HOSPITAL TO PROVIDE SPIRITUAL COUNSELING AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT TO DR. MARTIN AND THE PATIENTS AND STAFF AT GIGAIBA HOSPITAL.Expenses $1,095,795 · revenue $1,319,437
