Mission

We are a collective of creative people cultivating the tools and strength of spirit to meet every moment, every trauma, and every triumph.

990 for the year ended December 31, 2024

Program accomplishments

  • In 2024, ART 180 engaged 523 youth in experiences centered around creative expression, holistic healing, and connection to self and others. We held 38 programs led by 47 teaching artists at sites across Richmond, including our own gallery and teen art center, Atlas. We collaborated with 12 partners who work with a variety of young people who often face systemic barriers to participation in quality programming in creative development. By offering programs at no cost to participants in locations they can get to, we overcome these barriers and help create a more equitable community.
