Mission
ASPIRE AFTERSCHOOL EXPANDS LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES THAT HELP YOUNG PEOPLE FULFILL THEIR POTENTIAL THROUGH AFTERSCHOOL AND SUMMER LEARNING PROGRAMS THAT SUPPORT AND CONNECT FAMILIES, SCHOOLS, AND COMMUNITIES.
Program accomplishments
- MAKERSPACE - ASPIRE WAS FINALLY ABLE TO COMPLETE AND OPEN OUR LONG-AWAITED MAKERSPACE. THIS MAKERSPACE WILL PROVIDE MORE LEARNING AND STEM OPPORTUNITIES FOR OUR STUDENTS AND FAMILIES. IT WILL ALSO ALLOW FOR ASPIRE TO CONTINUE BUILDING STRONG COMMUNITY RELATIONSHIPS, ENSURING WE ARE ALIGNED WITH OUR CORE VALUES.
- NEW CLASSROOMS - ASPIRE WAS ABLE TO OPEN TWO ADDITIONAL CLASSROOMS. 1 CLASSROOM IS LOCATED AT DREW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, AND THE OTHER IS AT RANDOLPH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. OPENING THESE CLASSROOMS WILL ALLOW ASPIRE TO SERVE MORE STUDENTS, AND ENROLL STUDENTS WHO ARE CURRENTLY ON OUR WAITING LIST.
- ONE OF ASPIRE'S PRIMARY OBJECTIVES IS TO ENSURE OUR STUDENTS READING AND MATH SKILLS ARE CONSISTENTLY IMPROVING. DURING FISCAL YEAR 2025, 67% OF STUDENTS MAINTAINED OR IMPROVED THEIR READING LEVEL, AND 56% MAINTAINED OR IMPROVED THEIR MATH LEVEL.Expenses $1,373,133
