TO IMPROVE THE DETECTION, INVESTIGATION, CIVIL AND CRIMINAL PROSECUTION AND PREVENTION OF HEALTH CARE FRAUD; TO CONDUCT NATIONAL SEMINARS THAT BRING THE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTORS TOGETHER; TO EXPAND THE INVESTIGATIVE CAPABILITIES OF HEALTH CARE REIMBURSEMENT.

- THE NATIONAL HEALTH CARE ANTI-FRAUD ASSOCIATION MAINTAINED A STRONG PRIVATE/PUBLIC PARTNERSHIP IN COMBATING HEALTH CARE FRAUD. IT PROVIDED UNPARALLELED LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH THE NHCAA INSTITUTE FOR HEALTH CARE FRAUD PREVENTION. IT ALSO PROVIDED OPPORTUNITIES FOR PRIVATE AND PUBLIC-SECTOR INFORMATION SHARING; SERVED AS A NATIONAL RESOURCE FOR HEALTH CARE ANTI-FRAUD INFORMATION AND PROFESSIONAL ASSISTANCE TO GOVERNMENT, INDUSTRY AND THE MEDIA; AND RECOGNIZED PROFESSIONALS SPECIALIZING IN THE DETECTION AND INVESTIGATION AND/OR PROSECUTION OF HEALTH CARE FRAUD.
