Mission
THE PURPOSE OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION SHALL BE TO ADVANCE PSYCHOLOGY AS A PROFESSION AND SCIENCE, SERVING AS A SOURCE FOR THE PROMOTION OF PUBLIC WELFARE AND HUMAN DIGNITY.
Program accomplishments
- THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION DELIVERED CONTINUING EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES TO OUR MEMBERS, ENSURING PROFESSIONAL GROWTH AND ALIGNMENT WITH INDUSTRY STANDARDS. WE REPRESENTED THE ORGANIZATION AT THE NATIONAL PRACTICE CONFERENCE, BY HAVING A VENDOR TABLE REINFORCING OUR COMMITMENT TO ADVOCACY AND PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT. WE ALSO STRENGTHENED KEY PARTNERSHIPS, INCLUDING WITH TRUST AND HOWARD UNIVERSITY, ALLOWING FOR GREATER IMPACT AND SHARED RESOURCES.
