Program accomplishments

  • BULLIS CHARTER SCHOOL (BCS): THROUGH AN INTEGRATED TK-8 MODEL, BCS OFFERS A COLLABORATIVE, COMMUNITY ENVIRONMENT THAT AUGMENTS ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE WITH SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL GROWTH. THE INNOVATIVE BCS PROGRAM EXEMPLIFIES WHAT RESEARCH HAS SHOWN: STUDENTS IN TK-8 PROGRAMS ACHIEVE HIGHER ACADEMIC SCORES, PARTICIPATE MORE IN EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES, DEMONSTRATE GREATER LEADERSHIP SKILLS, AND ARE LESS LIKELY TO BE BULLIED THAN THOSE FOLLOWING THE USUAL ELEMENTARY/MIDDLE SCHOOL TRACK.
