Program accomplishments

  • 21/64 IS A NONPROFIT PRACTICE SPECIALIZING IN NEXT GENERATION AND MULTIGENERATIONAL ENGAGEMENT IN PHILANTHROPY AND AS SUCH HAS CONDUCTED A NUMBER OF ACTIVITIES IN ALIGNMENT WITH OUR MISSION IN 2025. WE GUIDE MULTIGENERATIONAL FAMILIES AND THEIR ADVISORS TO COURAGEOUSLY IMAGINE WHAT'S POSSIBLE IN HOW THEY WORK, GIVE, SERVE, AND GROW TOGETHER.FACILITATION21/64 PROVIDED EDUCATION AND FACILITATION SERVICES TO MORE THAN 11 FAMILIES WHO ARE MAKING COLLECTIVE DECISIONS TOGETHER ON TOPICS LIKE MONEY AND PHILANTHROPY AS WELL AS OVER 30 PRIVATE NON-PROFIT FOUNDATIONS, COMMUNITY FOUNDATIONS, FEDERATIONS, AND A HANDFUL OF FAMILY OFFICE AND FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS WHICH ARE TRYING TO EDUCATE THEIR DONORS AND CLIENTS ABOUT THE SIGNIFICANCE OF PHILANTHROPIC GIVING, IDENTITY, VALUES AND IN HOW TO WORK ACROSS THE MULTIPLE GENERATIONS TO RESPOND TO URGENT NEEDS AND SYSTEMIC LONG-TERM ISSUES. IN THESE FACILITATIONS, WE OFFERED FRAMEWORKS EXERCISES TO HELP ORGANIZATIONS, THEIR BOARDS AND STAFF TO IDENTIFY THE VALUES INHERENT IN EACH GENERATION THAT INFORM THEIR EXPERIENCE OF GIVING, THE VISION FOR WHAT THEY COULD FUND INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY, AS WELL AS STRATEGIES FOR COMMUNICATING EFFECTIVELY WITH PEOPLE OF DIFFERENT GENERATIONS WHO APPROACH GIVING DIFFERENTLY AND SEE THE WORLD AND ITS CHALLENGES FROM DIFFERENT VANTAGE POINTS.TOOLSIN 2025, WE CONTINUED TO SHIP IN-HAND TOOLS TO OUR CLIENTS. ADDITIONALLY, 286 INDIVIDUALS PARTICIPATED IN 21/64 TRAINING SESSIONS, WHERE THEY RECEIVED INSTRUCTION ON EFFECTIVELY USING THE 21/64 TOOLS.CONVENINGIN 2025, 21/64 CONTINUED ITS LONG-STANDING GRAND STREET PROGRAM, BRINGING TOGETHER EMERGING PHILANTHROPIC LEADERS IN THEIR 20S AND 30S FOR AN INTERACTIVE RETREAT FOCUSED ON IDENTITY, PHILANTHROPY, AND FAMILY DYNAMICS. PARTICIPANTS ENGAGED IN FACILITATED DISCUSSIONS THAT HELPED THEM CLARIFY THEIR VALUES, STRENGTHEN THEIR UNDERSTANDING OF THEIR ROLES IN FAMILY PHILANTHROPY, AND BUILD THE KNOWLEDGE, CONFIDENCE, AND RELATIONSHIPS NEEDED TO NAVIGATE COMPLEX PHILANTHROPIC DECISIONS. THE PROGRAM PROVIDED A SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT FOR PERSONAL REFLECTION, PEER LEARNING, AND DEVELOPING PRACTICAL STRATEGIES TO CREATE MEANINGFUL PHILANTHROPIC IMPACT.TRAININGIN 2025, 21/64 OFFERED 11 TRAININGS TO PROFESSIONALS ACROSS THE COUNTRY, BUILDING A NETWORK OF ADVISORS EQUIPPED TO APPLY A VALUES-BASED, MULTIGENERATIONAL APPROACH TO PHILANTHROPY AND HELP FAMILIES AND ORGANIZATIONS MAKE THOUGHTFUL DECISIONS ABOUT THE STEWARDSHIP OF THEIR RESOURCES. PARTICIPANTS INCLUDED PROFESSIONALS FROM PRIVATE FOUNDATIONS, COMMUNITY FOUNDATIONS, JEWISH FEDERATIONS ADMINISTERING DONOR ADVISED FUNDS, COMMERCIAL GIFT FUND SPONSORS, WEALTH MANAGEMENT FIRMS, AND OTHER PHILANTHROPIC ORGANIZATIONS. UPON COMPLETION OF THE TRAINING, PARTICIPANTS BECOME 21/64 CERTIFIED ADVISORS AND ARE INVITED TO ONGOING PEER LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES, INCLUDING EDUCATIONAL WEBINARS, RESEARCH UPDATES, ADVANCED TRAINING, AND A PROFESSIONAL NETWORK DEDICATED TO CONTINUED LEARNING AND COLLABORATION.DURING 2025, 21/64 CONTINUED TO STRENGTHEN ITS COHORT-BASED LEARNING MODEL, RECOGNIZING THAT MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIPS AMONG PARTICIPANTS EXTEND LEARNING BEYOND THE CLASSROOM. COHORTS WERE INTENTIONALLY DESIGNED TO FOSTER COMMUNITY, PEER CONNECTION, AND CONTINUED DIALOGUE AROUND THE COMPLEX ISSUES FACING TODAY'S DONORS AND THE PROFESSIONALS WHO SERVE THEM. THIS APPROACH WAS FURTHER ADVANCED THROUGH THE CONTINUED GROWTH OF THE CERTIFIED ADVISORS OF COLOR (CAOC) PROGRAM. GROUNDED IN OUR INTENTIONS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR DIVERSIFYING THE WEALTH AND PHILANTHROPIC ADVISING SECTOR, THE PROGRAM PROVIDES A DEDICATED COHORT EXPERIENCE FOR PROFESSIONALS OF COLOR TO DEEPEN LEARNING, BUILD PROFESSIONAL NETWORKS, AND STRENGTHEN LEADERSHIP TO GUIDE DONORS AND CLIENTS TO ALLOCATE THEIR RESOURCES TOWARD A JUST AND LOVING WORLD. THROUGHOUT 2025, 21/64 ALSO DEVELOPED AND DESIGNED A NEW PROGRAM FOCUSED ON THE INTERSECTION OF IDENTITY, SELF AND ROLE, AND SPIRIT. THIS PROGRAM IS DEDICATED FOR LEADERS AND CHANGEMAKERS WHO FEEL CALLED TO BRING MORE OF THEIR FULL SELVES INTO THE WORK OF RESOURCE MOBILIZATION TOWARD LASTING SOCIAL CHANGE. RATHER THAN A TRADITIONAL CONFERENCE, WORKSHOP, OR TRAINING, WHAT WE'VE DESIGNED IS AN IMMERSIVE AND REFLECTIVE JOURNEY, ONE THAT INVITES PARTICIPANT INWARD THROUGH EMBODIED PRACTICE, SPIRITUAL EXPLORATION, AND SHARED WISDOM IN COMMUNITY. THE ORGANIZATION INVESTED SIGNIFICANT TIME IN CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT, PROGRAM DESIGN, AND FACILITATION PLANNING, CULMINATING IN THE LAUNCH AND DELIVERY OF THE RETREAT IN 2026. ADDITIONALLY, 21/64 OFFERED 11 WORKSHOPS DURING 2025, PROVIDING SHORTER-FORMAT LEARNING EXPERIENCES THAT INTRODUCED PARTICIPANTS TO THE ORGANIZATION'S VALUES-BASED AND MULTIGENERATIONAL APPROACH TO PHILANTHROPY.
