  • Children of the Immaculate Heart began offering emergency services in the fall of 2023, and the first full year of these services was in 2024. We launched a mobile clinic that enables us to respond to survivors of sex trafficking within 24 hours of them contacting us. Our Program Administrator meets with the individual seeking help at a safe, neutral location like a coffee shop or park to conduct a needs assessment. From there, we help her find safe housing. Once she is secure, we connect her with a case manager from St. Bakhita's Program for longer-term support. In 2024, we provided emergency services to over 29 women.
