Mission
Jubilee Home fosters belonging, promotes healing, and builds wellness with justice-involved persons by providing quality, low barrier, supportive housing. We foster belonging by creating a community of mutuality where peer support specialists who have personal experience with incarceration, substance use disorder, and/or mental illness come alongside individuals transitioning from justice involvement to support them in overcoming the barriers that keep them from independence. We promote healing by creating safe space where residents can safely engage in mental health and substance use supports without stigma or judgement. We build wellness by focusing on the whole person and addressing nine dimensions of wellness with each resident, and we do all of this within the walls of beautiful houses that anyone would be proud to live in.
Program accomplishments
- In 2024, Jubilee Home provided reentry supportive services to 19 residents and over 50 community members. These reentry supports focus on the nine dimensions of wellness, and work to support the whole person as they move from incarceration to independence. In 2024, for the first time ever, 100% of residents were able to obtain employment! Our Peer Navigation team worked hard to support residents with their linkages to care including find primary care physicians, mental health and substance use disorder supports, job readiness training, interpersonal skills development, financial and computer literacy, and finally transition into independent housing.Expenses $274,404 · revenue $307,541
- In 2024, Jubilee Home provided housing for 19 individuals and engaged in supportive services with over 50 community members beyond residents. Of the 19 residents, 5 lived in permanent supportive housing, and 14 lived in transitional housing. In our transitional living space, 8 individuals came directly from incarceration, while 6 came from rehabilitation facilities or community referrals. We also purchased a property that will become another residence in 2025.Expenses $68,601 · revenue $76,885
