Program accomplishments

  • Rescued and Rehabilitated 197 Animals in Need - During 2025, Milos Dog Rescue took in 173 animals and provided medical care for critical illnesses and injuries, pregnancy, neonatal care, and various other conditions. All rescues were spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped prior to being placed with their adoptive families. Milos Dog Rescue takes corporate governance very seriously, by having no salaried employees, over 95% of donations go directly to program expenses for the rescue and care of the animals. In 2025, with the assistance of volunteers, Milos completed construction of an air conditioned kennel. The kennel combined with our growing volunteer/foster network allows rescues to be housed in a secure, loving environment.
    Expenses $21,244
