Mission

TO LEAD GIRLS TO THE TRUTH OF THEIR REDEEMED IDENTITY IN CHRIST, FREEING THEM TO PURSUE HIS PLANS, HIS PURPOSES AND HIS WAYS; TO FACILITATE THE FORMATION OF GROUPS FOCUSED ON BIBLE STUDY AND SKILL DEVELOPMENT; TO ENCOURAGE AND EQUIP GROUP LEADERS TO INTENTIONALLY PASS THE BATON OF FAITH TO THE GROUP MEMBERS; AND TO PROVIDE CURRICULUM FOR USE BY THE GROUPS.

990-EZ for the year ended December 31, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • THE ORGANIZATION'S METHODS INCLUDE CREATING AND PROVIDING CURRICULUM THAT IS ENGAGING, CLEAR AND FOCUSED, EQUIPPING GROUP LEADERS TO FULFILL THE MISSION OF RELAY EXCHANGE WITH PRACTICAL GUIDANCE AND MENTORING WHILE ENCOURAGING AUTONOMY AND INDIVIDUAL CHARACTERS OF GROUPS, WHILE CREATING A MANAGEABLE PROGRAM THAT IS LOGISTICALLY FEASIBLE. THE CURRICULUM COMBINES TEACHING PRACTICAL SKILLS WITH SPIRITUAL TRUTHS. EACH GROUP MEETS ONCE A MONTH FOR TWO HOURS AND THE LESSON IS DESIGNED TO BE WORKED ON AT HOME TOGETHER DURING THE FOLLOWING MONTH. RELAY EXCHANGE DRAFTS AND DISTRIBUTES THE CURRICULUM TO THESE GROUPS. A $40 ANNUAL FEE IS CHARGED FOR MEMBERS TO USE THE CURRICULUM AND PARTICIPATE IN RELAY EXCHANGE. THE $40 FEE PER MEMBER IS USED TO OFFSET THE COSTS INVOLVED WITH THE DEVELOPMENT AND DISTRIBUTION OF THE CURRICULUM MATERIALS. RELAY EXCHANGE HAS DEVELOPED A SET OF CURRICULUM TO BE USED BY THE RESPECTIVE GROUPS FROM YEAR 1 TO YEAR 8.
    Expenses $15,905
  • CORPORATE IDENTITY IS A CRITICAL ASPECT OF RELAY EXCHANGE AS THE ORGANIZATION IS TO BE SELF-SUSTAINING THROUGH THE MEMBERSHIP FEES AND FUTURE DONATIONS OF ITS MEMBERS. RELAY EXCHANGE HAS ADOPTED A PASSIVE APPROACH TO FUNDRAISING WHEREBY PEOPLE CAN MAKE DONATIONS TO THE ORGANIZATION. THE ORGANIZATION WILL NOT ACTIVELY SOLICIT DONATIONS. DONATIONS RECEIVED BY THE ORGANIZATION WILL BE USED FOR MEMBER OR GROUP SCHOLARSHIPS AS THE BOARD MEMBERS AND OFFICERS ENVISION SOME GROUPS MAY NOT BE ABLE TO SUPPORT THEIR OWN ACTIVITIES FINANCIALLY, EITHER THROUGH MEMBERSHIP FEES OR NEEDED SUPPLIES FOR THE GROUP. AS THE ORGANIZATION GROWS, THE BOARD MEMBERS AND OFFICERS ENVISION THAT DONATIONS WOULD BE USED TO COVER AT LEAST PART OF THE OPERATING COSTS THAT A GROWING ORGANIZATION MIGHT INCUR. ALL OF THE DONATIONS ARE TO BE USED FOR GROWING GROUPS OR SUPPORTING THE ADMINISTRATIVE BURDEN OF THE ORGANIZATION. THEREFORE, CORPORATE IDENTITY AND DESIGN IS CRITICAL IN ORDER TO REMAIN SUSTAINABLE.
    Expenses $4,544
  • A RELAY EXCHANGE GROUP PARTICIPATES TOGETHER IN SERVICE PROJECTS AND OUTINGS DESIGNED TO FOSTER A SENSE OF COMMUNITY AND TO FOLLOW THE EXAMPLE OF JESUS. SERVICE PROJECTS AND OUTINGS WILL CONSTITUTE 10% OF THE TIME. GROUPS WILL PARTICIPATE TOGETHER IN ONE OR MORE SERVICE PROJECT EACH YEAR. RELAY EXCHANGE GROUPS ARE TO SEEK OPPORUNITIES WHERE THE BELIEFS OF RELAY EXCHANGE MAY BE FREELY COMMUNICATED AND TO FIND ORGANIZATIONS THAT ARE WELL MANAGED AND RESPONSIVE.
    Expenses $2,272
