Mission
TO RAISE AND PROVIDE HUMANITARIAN RELIEF AND SUPPORT INTO AREAS OF DISASTER OR NEED, BOTH DOMESTICALLY AND ABROAD.
Program accomplishments
- H3 Missions, Inc. coordinates and leads medical, dental and allied health professionals from all across the United States to conduct free medical and dental clinics in tent cities, orphanages and impoverished villages across Haiti. H3 Missions has conducted numerous medical missions to Haiti since the devastating earthquake in January 2010. We work with government entities such as the Ministry of Health, as well as other non-governmental organizations operating in Haiti, to ensure that our efforts are as effective as possible in the communities where we serve. In addition, H3 Missions continues to return to the same areas to provide a deeper more comprehensive approach to the people in the communities we serve. H3 Missions intends to establish a permanent medical and dental clinic in Haiti, within the next five years, where we can provide excellent healthcare to people who desperately need it.Expenses $3,319
- Our typical mission teams consist of doctors of various specialties, nurses, nurse practitioners and physician assistants, dentists and dental hygenists, as well as non-health related professions such as teachers and business people. H3Missions has also developed relationships with leading allied health universities such as Loma Linda University in Southern California, where their School of Dentistry, supports and provides dental professors, students and logistical support to the dental portion of our mission trips, annually.H3Missions has also constructed five classrooms and four toilet facilities at an elementary school in one of the communities we serve, as well as two residence facilities at an orphanage in another.
- Our typical clinic day involves serving about 150 medical and dental patients daily over a seven to ten day mission, with some of our mission trips lasting up to sixteen days. During our clinics, we have a concurrent daily vitamin distribution component where every man, woman and child receives a 30 day supply of adult or children's vitamins. We also have a concurrent daily food distribution component where each family unit which comes through our clinic receives a four or five day supply of rice and beans. lastly, it does no good for our teams to diagnose a patient's medical condition, we also provide the medicine to cure the diagnosed ailment.
