Mission
THE MISSOURI INSURANCE COALITION (MIC) IS A NONPROFIT GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS AND CONSUMER EDUCATION ORGANIZATION REPRESENTING THE INSURANCE INDUSTRY. MIC WAS ESTABLISHED TO FOSTER A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE INSURANCE BUSINESS. MIC STRIVES TO IMPROVE THE REGULATORY CLIMATE AND MAINTAIN A FREE ENTERPRISE COMPETITIVE SYSTEM IN THE INSURANCE MARKETPLACE.

- MISSOURI INSURANCE COALITION HOLDS MEETINGS TO INFORM MEMBERS OF MISSOURI LEGISLATIVE ACTIVITIES, REGULATIONS, LAWSUITS, AND OTHER MATTERS THAT MAY AFFECT THEIR BUSINESS.
- GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS INCLUDES A LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEE THAT REVIEWS LEGISLATIVE AND REGULATORY PROPOSALS PERTAINING TO INSURANCE AND ESTABLISHING THE COALITION'S GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS AGENDA. THE COALITION ACTIVELY PROMOTES ITS POSITION TO STATE LEGISLATORS AND REGULATORS.
