Mission

ARM Prison Outreach is an arm of the church to help fulfill the biblical mandate of Jesus, "I was in prison and you came to visit me," Matt 25:36, NIV. Our specialized programs are designed to proclaim the love and message of Jesus to the incarcerated, help lead them into a saving and personal relationship with the Savior, build them up in the faith, and equip them for a lifetime of faithful service in the Lord's Kingdom.

Program accomplishments

  • Christian Materials distribution: ARM has several programs that strive to meet the needs of inmates. The American Bible Academy is our free Bible correspondence school for inmates and their legal spouses. We are a distribution center for prison ministry for both American Bible Society and DaySpring Cards. Bibles and Christian greeting cards are shipped to the institutions to be distributed to the inmates. We also distribute Christian literature, free of charge, to any chaplain who requests it through our "Box That Never Runs Dry" program.
    Expenses $677,862 · revenue $154,573
  • Baptistries: ARM manufactures and donates baptistries to prison and jail facilities that request one. The facility is only required to pay the shipping cost from our headquarters to their location. These baptistries are donated and shipped to the facility for the chaplains to use when inmates desire baptism.
    Expenses $182,901 · revenue $230,521
  • AMO Missionary Support: This is an outreach of ARM to Christian organizations, reaching those in need inside and outside prisons, through the gospel of Christ both internationally and domestically.
    Expenses $35,158
