- ADVOCACY - TO BE A UNITED VOICE FOR FUNERAL PROFESSIONALS IN THE IOWA LEGISLATURE, STATE AGENCIES, IOWA'S CONGRESSIONAL DELEGATION, AND WITH OTHER ENTITIES THAT IMPACT THE FUNERAL PROFESSION.
- EDUCATION - CONDUCT CONTINUING EDUCATION AND EXPANSION OF KNOWLEDGE OF FUNERAL DIRECTORS. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED BY BEING THE PREMIER PROVIDER OF CONTINUING EDUCATION THAT FOSTERS PROFESSIONALISM IN THE PROFESSION, HOSTING AN ANNUAL CONVENTION THAT FEATURES THE PREMIER MIDWEST FUNERAL SERVICE EXPO AND MAXIMIZING TECHNOLOGY TO PROVIDE EDUCATION IN PLACES CONVENIENT FOR FUNERAL PROFESSIONALS.
- MEMBER BENEFITS - THE ASSOCIATION IS COMMITTED TO STAYING RELEVANT TO FUNERAL PROFESSIONALS BY PROVIDING MEMBERS-ONLY ACCESS TO RESOURCES, RESEARCH, AND INFORMATION. OFFERING DISCOUNTS TO MEMBERS ON TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES AS WELL AS COMMUNICATIONS AND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES.
