Mission
THE AMERICAN CIVIL LIBERTIES UNION OF WISCONSIN, INC. (THE UNION") PROTECTS AND PROMOTES THE CIVIL LIBERTIES AND CIVIL RIGHTS OF ALL PEOPLE IN WISCONSIN IN A NON-PARTISAN MATTER.
Program accomplishments
- THE UNION CONTINUES TO ADVOCATE FOR POLICING REFORMS THROUGHOUT WISCONSIN, AS WELL AS BROAD CRIMINAL LEGAL REFORM. THE UNION ALSO ADVOCATES FOR THE EXPANSION OF VOTING RIGHTS, IMMIGRATION RIGHTS RACIAL JUSTICE, AND LGBTQ+ EQUALITY. THE UNION PARTICIPATES IN VARIOUS PROJECTS AND PROGRAMS IN THE STATE CAPITOL AND IN COALITIONAL WORK IN WISCONSIN. THE UNION MAINTAINS A WEBSITE PRESENCE TO KEEP INDIVIDUALS INFORMED ABOUT CIVIL LIBERTIES NEWS, AS WELL AS A SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE IN ORDER TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC AND PROMOTE THE ACTIVITIES OF THE UNION.Expenses $745,413
