Program accomplishments

  • Delgany Bridge Restoration, Inc. was organized in 2025 to preserve, restore, and facilitate the reopening of the historic Delgany Pedestrian Bridge in Denver, Colorado for public use. During the tax year, the organization focused on foundational program activities necessary to advance the project, including legal structuring, development of an ownership and transfer strategy, and coordination with municipal agencies and stakeholders. The organization worked with the City of Denver, including Parks and Recreation and the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, to establish a pathway for restoration and long-term public ownership. The organization also secured initial grant funding and began planning for restoration activities. These efforts represent essential early-stage program services required to enable the future physical restoration and reopening of the bridge for public benefit.
