  • THE EASTERN FESTIVAL OF MUSIC WILL COMBINE GREAT CLASSICAL MUSIC-MAKING WITH A SUMMER EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM ENRICHED WITH INCREDIBLE FACULTY AND YOUNG ARTISTS IN ITS FIRST SUMMER 2026 DUE TO THE EFFORTS OF THE ORGANIZATION TO CONTINUE THE TRADITION OF PRIOR ORGANIZATIONS.DISTINGUISHED ARTISTS WILL COME TO THE SCENIC CAMPUS OF GUILFORD COLLEGE IN GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA TO IMMERSE THEMSELVES IN TEACHING OUTSTANDING STUDENTS AND PERFORMING TO LARGE AUDIENCES AT THE ACOUSTICAL GEM OF DANA AUDITORIUM.THE STUDENTS, AGES 14-24, WILL RECEIVE PRIVATE INSTRUCTION AND PARTICIPATE IN ORCHESTRAL PERFORMANCES, CHAMBER MUSIC, AND MASTER CLASSES DURING THE FIVE WEEKS THEY ARE IN RESIDENCE. STUDENTS COME FROM AROUND THE GLOBE TO HAVE AN ENRICHING EXPERIENCE, MUSICALLY AND SOCIALLY.
