Program accomplishments

  • The Association oversees city league baseball for players aged 6 to 14. We had about 185 participants across the four age-divided leagues we manage. This year we operated independently of a national organization for the first time which proved highly successful. Players aged 7-12 competed with Merrill-based players while the 13 and 14-year-old teams faced off against teams from neighboring communities.
    Expenses $16,000 · grants $15,450
  • The Association oversees travel teams that participate in tournaments around Wisconsin. There are teams at each level from 8 through 14 with two teams at the 10u and 12u level. We provide insurance and coaching for the players and host a tournament as well. We had 95 players participate in the 2025 season.
    Expenses $15,000 · grants $13,500
  • The Association continues to work to improve facilities for our players. In addition to continually improving our facility we also work to improve the city fields and some of the structures dugouts and concession stands that our teams use. We specifically fixed two existing scoreboards and purchased soil ammendments for our 60 fields.
    Expenses $5,137
