Mission

DONATING DREAMS WAS FORMED IN 2023 AND LAUNCHED IN 2024 WITH THE INTENT OF ASSISTING COUPLES AND INDIVIDUALS WITH FINANCIAL NEED IN FAMILY FORMATION. FAMILIES PROVIDE THE BASIS OF OUR SOCIETY, AND OUR GOAL IS TO ASSIST INDIVIDUALS WHO WANT TO PURSUE THEIR DREAM OF HAVING THEIR OWN FAMILY. OUR NONPROFIT HAS TWO ARMS: THE FERTILITY GRANT PROGRAM (FGP) AND THE WEDDING GRANT PROGRAM (WGP). OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE FULLY FUNDED WEDDING AND FERTILITY GRANTS TO COUPLES OR INDIVIDUALS WHO MEET OUR NEED-BASED CRITERIA.

990-EZ for the year ended December 31, 2024

Program accomplishments

  • FERTILITY GRANT PROGRAM: WITHIN THE FERTILITY SECTOR, MANY ASPIRING PARENTS SPEND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS ON IN VITRO FERTILIZATION ATTEMPTS, ONLY TO LEARN, OFTEN AFTER EXHAUSTING THEIR FUNDS OR AMASSING TREMENDOUS DEBT, THAT THEIR HOPES OF HAVING CHILDREN DEPEND UPON DONOR EGGS OR EMBRYOS. ALTHOUGH MILLIONS ARE AFFECTED BY INFERTILITY, COVERAGE FOR DONOR EGG IVF IS SCARCE AND OFTEN UNATTAINABLE. IN ADDITION, THERE ARE NO US-BASED GRANT OPPORTUNITIES SPECIFICALLY FOR DONOR EGG/EMBRYO IVF JOURNEYS. OUR FULLY FUNDED DONOR EGG/EMBRYO GRANT WOULD OFFER HOPE AND ACCESS TO ASPIRING PARENTS WHO STRUGGLE WITH INFERTILITY.
    grants $67,404
  • WEDDING GRANT PROGRAM: MANY COUPLES WHO SEEK TO GET MARRIED STRUGGLE TO AFFORD A WEDDING OR RECEPTION TO CELEBRATE THEIR UNION, AN IMPORTANT SYMBOLIC PART OF FAMILY FORMATION. OUR WGP ARM AIMS TO ASSIST COUPLES WHO FACE CHALLENGING OBLIGATIONS, SUCH AS CARING FOR FAMILY MEMBERS OR PAYING FOR URGENTMEDICAL TREATMENT, THAT NECESSARILY TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER SAVING FOR A WEDDING. OUR GOAL IS TO SUPPORT AND HONOR THESE COUPLES BY PROVIDING THEM WITH FULLY FUNDED GRANTS FOR THEIR WEDDING CELEBRATION.
