Mission
Blue Lotus Buddhist Meditation Center (BLBMC) is a small meditation community offering meditation and mindfulness training, as well as other classes such as Yoga, Sound Healing, and book studies, to promote inner peace and compassion for all beings.
Program accomplishments
- Health and Wellness: Promoted physical, mental, and emotional well-being through offerings in Ayurveda holistic health, Reiki and Yoga. Served approximately 95 participants during the year.Expenses $2,576
- Religion: Conducted regular Buddhist meditation sessions, Dharma talks, study groups, retreats, and religious observances to support the practice and understanding of Buddhist teachings. Programs were open to the public and provided opportunities for spiritual development, mindfulness, ethical living, and community fellowship. Community outreach includes sessions at local libraries for meditation and healing bowls. Serving 2600 people.Expenses $1,613
- Education:Everything our organization does is to educate the public on better ways to improve their emotional and physical well being. Provide educational programs on Buddhist philosophy, meditation, mindfulness, and ethical living through weekly classes, study groups, workshops, retreats, and guest presentations.
