Mission
THE INDIANA ORGANIZATION FOR NURSING LEADERSHIP (IONL) IS THE PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR NURSES WHO DESIGN, FACILITATE AND MANAGE CARE. SINCE 1974, THE ORGANIZATION HAS PROVIDED LEADERSHIP, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, ADVOCACY AND RESEARCH TO ADVANCE NURSING PRACTICE AND PATIENT CARE, PROMOTE NURSING LEADERSHIP EXCELLENCE AND SHAPE PUBLIC POLICY FOR HEALTH CARE.
Program accomplishments
- IONL HOSTED A 2025 SPRING AND FALL CONFERENCE FOR NURSES THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF INDIANA TO FURTHER THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION IN THEIR FIELD OF PRACTICE. EACH CONFERENCE INCLUDES SPEAKERS IN VARIOUS AREAS OF SPECIALIZED SERVICE.
- GRANTS WERE AWARDED DURING 2025 TO ORGANIZATIONS IN THE AMOUNT OF $166,500 TO HELP PAY FOR CONFERENCE/WORKSHOPS/RESEARCH AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT TO SUPPORT NURSES THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF INDIANA.
