Mission
OSUNO is a local unit of the Ohio Nurses Association which represents the staff nurses at the Ohio State University Medical Center. OSUNO strengthens the practice of nursing at the Ohio State University Medical Center by providing its registered nurses a strong voice to advocate for their patients and workplace.
Program accomplishments
- Article 4 is OSUNO's contractual obligation to reimburse OSUWMC for hours spent by the president and vice presidents that are part of their FTE.
- Member engagement is a variety of activities that support, educate, and encourage involvement of OSUNO membership.
- Nurses Day is an event to celebrate nurses within the bargaining unit. Refreshments, education, raffles, scholarships, and fellowship are provided to all shifts within the medical center.
