Mission

Helping orphans, abandoned and underserved children in Haiti in order to impact on enhancing the quality of living conditions and reducing the emigration of necessary human resources.

990-EZ for the year ended December 31, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • Our mission is to bring more educational and financial opportunities to the underserved children of Haiti in order to unlock their capacities to their full potential. We want to assist them with proper nutrition, decent shelter and quality education. Our success will be complete when we see them totally emancipated, becoming highly creative and productive citizens for their country and potentially for the rest of the world. We help our twin sister organization in Haiti run an orphanage as a refuge center of excellence for an average of 100 children. We offer them a high standard quality education on campus at our humanitarian school, Institution Humanitaire Theta, also called Haitian Academy International, that also, are attending an average of 400 below poverty level students from the surrounding neighborhood.Beside our regular management activities and in spite of all the political turmoil and rampant insecurity, we have accomplished the following throughout the year 2024: -We have been managing our local operations at our new Head quarters office in Ocala since August 2021. Our new location is 2004 North East 50th Place, Ocala, Florida 34479.-We pack and send plastic bins loaded with donated items such clothes, nonperishable food, toiletries, multivitamins, first aid, school materials at least every month to our children. -We met with and renewed our partnership with local and international non-governmental organizations for assistance in feeding and caring for our children.-The total cost for food at our refuge averages to US $1,900.00 (US $65.00 per day) in compensation for local food donations received on a monthly basis from an intl religious organization. We managed to feed our children three nutritious meals a day. -We transfer money regularly, every weeks, to pay allocations to our thirty six personnel composed of Administrator, Accountant, Secretary, Medical Dr. and nurses, Teachers, Discipliner, Cooks, Nannies, Guardian, Doorman, Janitor and Gardener. (US $3,100.00 per month)-We renovated our temporary school structures to shelter our operations while still fundraising for the construction of our long time due modern school building we have started in 2013.-We renovated existing wooden benches, chalk boards, teachers desks and built new ones.-We paid for school uniforms, school supplies, school shoes, study books and school materials.-We are always collecting toys, nonperishable food items, multivitamins and minerals, gently used clothing, bedding, first aid kits, hygiene supplies, medical supplies, tools, furniture, mattresses, electronics and office supplies to be shipped to Haiti.-We attended many networking events and meet with many more people and supporting groups in the State of Florida.-We volunteered community services locally in Ocala, Florida.-We collect contributions for sending relief to other communities hit by natural catastrophes.-We organized educational field trips in Haiti visiting historical sites and farm lands with our children.-We also organized educational visit to enterprises and industries for our children as an awakening on entrepreneurship.-We arranged multiple seminars on artisanal and artistic works, food production, reforestation and alternative energy resources.-We send our older children to trade school in order to prepare their reinsertion into society and productive source.-With our volunteer doctors we organized four trimestral clinic journeys to care for our children and offer free services to our immediate neighbors.-We have completed the construction of our own Health Center, named after our so generous donor: Centre de soin Christian Jtur to secure medical assistance and follow up on our children regularly while assisting the population from our vicinities.-We equipped our children and some other youth from the neighborhood to form a soccer club and we organized a competition for the summer. In the future we are planning a little gym to build our children in shape.-We have continuous weekly seminar on Hygiene, Civisms, Environment and Culture.-We run a trade program where we teach our children Knitting, Macram, embroidery, Pottery, Plastic Art, Music. -We had our regular monthly meetings to evaluate our progress and decide on corrective actions to better our services.-We had our General Assembly meeting in December for global evaluations, adjustments, Strategy planning, voting and appointing our new Board members. -We consider that 2024 has been a highly productive year, even if we have lost much supporting from donors because of the difficulties encountered in the country. -With the support of our donors and the future subscription of new sponsors we will be empowered to implement new investment projects toward our self-sustainability and we remain optimistic for a marvelous and flourishing year 2026.
