Mission
OUR MISSION IS TO INSPIRE HEALTHIER LIVES BY PROVIDING YOUTH WITH JOYFUL SCHOOL GARDENING EXPERIENCES AND OPPORTUNITIES TO EAT THE GARDEN-FRESH VEGETABLES THEY'VE GROWN. OUR VISION IS A VEGETABLE GARDEN IN EVERY SCHOOL, LEADING TO GENERATIONS OF HEALTHY FAMILIES THROUGHOUT DELAWARE.

- HFHK'S EDUCATION CULTIVATION PROGRAM SUPPORTS 68 SCHOOL VEGETABLE GARDENS IN DELAWARE. STUDENTS LEARN HOW TO TEND AND HARVEST THE GARDEN AND EAT WHAT THEY ARE GROWING DURING BOTH SPRING AND FALL PLANTING SEASONS. LESSONS SUPPORT THE STATE OF DELAWARE SCIENCE CURRICULUM STANDARDS AND TEACH THE IMPORTANCE OF A HEALTHY DIET.Expenses $374,811 · revenue $166,481
