Mission
THE FORNEY ISD EDUCATION LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION, PROMOTE INNOVATION IN TEACHING, AND PARTNERS WITH THE COMMUNITY TO ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION FOR ALL STUDENTS.
Program accomplishments
- THE ORGANIZATION FUNDED GRANTS FOR CERTAIN TEACHERS WHO REQUESTED FUND FOR INNOVATIVE INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAMS AND INITIATIVES WHICH POSITIVELY IMPACTED THE STUDENTS AND FISD.IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION SUPPORTS QUALIFIED STUDENTS IN NEED WITH BACKPACKS AND SCHOOL SUPPLIES. THIS ALSO INCLUDED SUPPORT CLASSROOMS WITH ADDITIONAL SUPPLIES TO IMPROVE INSTRUCTION.LASTLY, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR QUALIFIED STUDENTS TO ATTEND SUMMER STEAM CAMPS.Expenses $298,664
