990-EZ for the year ended December 31, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • HARRASEEKET HAS A SINGLE PROGRAM, WHICH WE CALL OUR "IMAGINING YOUR FUTURE" PROGRAM. THIS PROGRAM SUPPORTS COMMUNITIES IN NORTHERN VIRGINIA AS THEY CREATE INTERGENERATIONAL CONNECTIONS INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THEIR COMMUNITIES, WITH SEVERAL OPTIONS FOR DOING SO. THESE INCLUDE (IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OTHER NONPROFITS AND FOR-PROFIT ENTITIES) MENTORING HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS - PARTICULARLY STUDENTS WHO WOULD BENEFIT FROM AN ADDITIONAL ADULT IN THEIR LIVES -- AND WORKSHOPS, FORUMS, PANELS AND AT-WORK EXPERIENCES (SHADOWING, INFORMATIONAL INTERVIEWS, FIELD TRIPS, INTERNSHIPS AND PART-TIME WORK). WE HAVE REACHED OVER 2,900 STUDENTS WITH OVER 250 PEOPLE REPRESENTING OVER 120 EMPLOYERS AT MULTIPLE FAIRS, AND CAREER PANELS, DRAWING FROM AN EMPLOYER DIRECTORY WE'VE CREATED WITH OVER 1,000 EMPLOYERS. WE'VE COORDINATED AND SUPPORTED MORE THAN 110 WORKSHOPS AND FORUMS. STUDENTS HAVE LANDED DOZENS OF AT-WORK EXPERIENCES, SUCH AS INTERNSHIPS, AND BEEN MENTORED BY MANY MENTORS. PART OF OUR MISSION IS TO EXPAND AWARENESS OF OPPORTUNITIES FOR EMPLOYERS AND COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS TO SUPPORT STUDENTS, WHICH WE'VE DONE BY PARTICIPATING IN A WIDE VARIETY OF COMMUNITY EVENTS, INCLUDING AT AREA CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE.STUDENT GRANTS (STIPENDS) OF $6,537 ARE INCLUDED IN THE TOTAL REPORTED IN LINE 28A.
