IT IS THE MISSION OF THE AMERICAN BOARD OF VENOUS & LYMPHATIC MEDICINE TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF MEDICAL PRACTITIONERS AND THE CARE OF PATIENTS RELATED TO VENOUS AND LYMPHATIC DISORDERS THROUGH RIGOUROUS TESTING, RELIABLE CERTIFICATION, AND IMPROVED EDUCATIONAL STANDARDS.
