THE ORGANIZATION PROMOTES HEALTHY, ACTIVE LIFESTYLES, PROFESSIONAL GROWTH, AND PUBLIC AWARENESS OF QUALITY PROGRAMS IN HEALTH, PHYSICAL EDUCATION, RECREATION, DANCE AND ATHLETICS FOR STUDENTS, EDUCATORS AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS.
Program accomplishments
- ORGANIZATION PROVIDES PROFESSIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR ITS MEMBERS THROUGH: STATE ANNUAL CONVENTION, SPRING CONFERENCE, ADAPTED PHYSICAL EDUCATION CONFERENCE, LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE, AND INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL HEALTH EDUCATION CONFERENCE. THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCES ARE BASED ON THE NEEDS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE PARTICIPANTS THROUGH EVALUATIONS AND SURVEYS. WE UTILIZE THE DATA TO ASSIST IN GIVING PROGRAMS TO PROMOTE GROWTH IN CURRICULUM AND ASSESSMENT AND CURRENT TRENDS IN EDUCATION.
