THE LONGVIEW SYMPHONY LEAGUE WAS FORMED TO PROMOTE AND INCREASE THE MUSICAL KNOWLEDGE OF THE PUBLIC BY PROMOTING PERFORMANCES OF MUSIC IN PROGRAMS CHOSEN PRIMARILY FROM THE LITERATURE OF SYMPHONIC MUSIC, CHAMBER MUSIC, OPERA, SOLO RECITALS, VOCAL CHORUS OR THE DANCE.
