Mission
ROBERT H. IVY SOCIETY OF PLASTIC SURGEONS IS A DOMESTIC NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT IS A FORUM FOR PLASTIC SURGEONS THAT PROMOTES RESEARCH AND EDUCATION, ENCOURAGES HIGH STANDARDS OF ETHICAL PRACTICE AND ADVOCATES EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION, IDEAS, AND KNOWLEDGE BETWEEN MEMBERS, FOR THEIR PATIENTS, AND POLICY MAKERS.
Program accomplishments
- THE SOCIETY ESTABLISHES A FORUM FOR DISCUSSION AND TEACHING OF PLASTIC SURGERY METHODS AND PRINCIPLES; AND HOLDS AN ANNUAL MEETING WHERE OVER 80 MEMBER AND NON-MEMBER ATTENDEES QUALIFY FOR EDUCATION CREDITS. IT ALSO PROVIDES A SEMI-ANNUAL ELECTRONIC NEWSLETTER AS WELL AS OCCASIONAL DINNER MEETINGS WHERE TOPICS RELATED TO PLASTIC SURGERY ARE DISCUSSED.
