Mission
THE OBJECTIVE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO CARRY OUT WITHIN THE COUNCIL'S JURISDICTION THE OBJECTIVES OF AFSCME. DC47 SHALL NEGOTIATE AND MONITOR AGREEMENTS WITH THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA AND THE OTHER EMPLOYERS OF THE AFFILIATED LOCAL UNIONS.
