Mission
To support the creation of a positive youth culture in the U.S. that honors self-reliance, respectful relations between the sexes, marriage and parenthood, and service to others.Through educational activities and media outreach, the Institute for Relationship Intelligence seeks to help young people to value their lives, their health and their future goals including productive work, marriage, parenthood and family;to develop leadership skills that would allow them to avoid addictive or destructive behaviors that would damage their ability to achieve their future goals; andto develop the positive relationship skills that will enhance their future careers, marriages, and communities.Through educational activities and media outreach, the Institute for Relationship Intelligence seeks to empower parents and educators with the knowledge, awareness and tools to take a proactive role in the lives of the young people they care about.
Program accomplishments
- During July 2024- Jun 2025 IRI offered LoveSmarts education for middle school and high school students in Jersey City and Paterson, NJ. It also ran after-school clubs for youth in Newark, NJ. Topics covered included the importance of having self-respect, aiming for life goals, healthy boundaries, warning signs for toxic relationships including techniques employed by human traffickers, including the use of online social media and gaming to entrap new victims.IRI continued to send financial support to the Orphans and Vulnerable Children Trust in Zambia, Africa.IRI continued to send out email newsletters and posts on social media with information for youth and parents of teens with information about healthy relationships, avoiding negative influences like pornography and the benefits of committed relationships and serving your community.Expenses $33,176 · grants $760
