Mission

The National Association for Behavioral Healthcare ("NABH") advocates for behavioral health and represents provider systems that are committed to the delivery of responsive, accountable, and clinically effective prevention, treatment, and (continued on Schedule O)care for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults with mental and substance use disorders.

990 for the year ended December 31, 2024

Program accomplishments

  • Legislation: NABH monitors the development and implementation of legislation affecting the behavioral health industry. • Communications: NABH produces a weekly newsletter and other publications for members and external audiences.
    Expenses $569,450
  • Regulatory: A growing part of the Association's advocacy activities relate to administrative and regulatory initiatives by various federal agencies, including the Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers fo Medicare and Medicaid Services. These agencies provide funding and oversight to the association's membership. As part of the Association's advocacy work, it is necessary to closely monitor and interact with these federal agencies to ensure that the membership's interests are well represented.
