IEA FURTHER WISHES TO INSPIRE AND FACILITATE ADULTS TO CONTINUE THEIR JOURNEY IN EQUESTRIAN ATHLETICS FOR A LIFETIME.

990 for the year ended June 30, 2025

Program accomplishments

  • IEA IS ORGANIZED TO PROMOTE AND EXPAND ACCESS TO QUALITY TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL EQUESTRIAN COMPETITION AND INSTRUCTION. ITS PURPOSE SHALL BE TO SET STANDARDS FOR COMPETITION; TO PROVIDE INFORMATION CONCERNING THE CREATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF EQUESTRIAN SPORT PROGRAMS; TO PROMOTE THE COMMON INTERESTS OF SAFE RIDING INSTRUCTION; AND TO EDUCATE ON MATTERS RELATED TO HORSEMANSHIP.
    Expenses $3,405,108
  • THE IEA AIMS TO DEVELOP UNDERSTANDING, APPRECIATION, AND PARTICIPATION IN EQUESTRIAN SPORTS THROUGH ORGANIZED COMPETITIONS AND ADDITIONAL EQUINE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES. DURING FY 24.25, OUR ORGANIZATION HOSTED 1072 SHOWS. WE SHOWED A SMALL INCREASE IN MEMBERSHIP, ENDING AT A TOTAL MEMBER COUNT OF 14,960.
  • THE IEA UNDERTOOK A MAJOR CHANGE IN 24.25 AS WE FOCUSED ON A TECHNOLOGICAL OVERHAUL TO BRING ALL OF OUR OPERATING SYSTEMS FOR TRACKING MEMBERS AND EVENTS INTO A NEW, CUSTOMIZED SYSTEM THAT WOULD INTEGRATE WITH MORE ADVANCED PAYMENT SYSTEMS, IMPROVED SECURITY, AND GENERAL PLATFORM/OPERATING ADVANCEMENTS. THAT SYSTEM OVERHAUL AND TRANSITION TOOK DEDICATION AND OVERTIME FROM STAFF AND MANAGEMENT, BUT THE NET RESULT IS A HUGE ENHANCEMENT TO OUR MEMBER EXPERIENCE AND TO AN UNAVOIDABLE UPGRADE SINCE THE PRIOR OPERATING SYSTEM WAS NO LONGER SUPPORTED BY EXISTING TECHNOLOGY. THE IEA CONTINUES TO OFFER ITS ADULT PILOT PROGRAM, AND INCLUDED INCORPORATION OF THE ADULT COMPETITIONS AND TRACKING INTO ITS NEW DATA SYSTEMS. ADDITIONALLY, THE CORE EDUCATIONAL COMPONENT OF THE IEA, ITS "HIPPOLOGY" PROGRAM (STUDY OF HORSES AND HORSEMANSHIP) EXPANDED SIGNIFICANTLY IN 24.25. INCORPORATING THE PROGRAM INTO THE NEW DATA SYSTEMS BROUGHT A TREMENDOUS INCREASE IN PARTICIPATION ADDING ABOUT 1600 NEW PARTICIPANTS. THE IEA ALSO EXPANDED ITS YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM BY EXPANDING ITS YOUTH BOARD PREPARATION DOWN TO THE TEAM LEVEL THROUGH ITS "TEAM CAPTAINS CAMPAIGN" THAT ENCOURAGED ALL IEA TEAMS TO DESIGNATE A CAPTAIN WHO WOULD BE THE MAIN POINT OF CONTACT FOR PEER TO PEER COMMUNICATIONS.
