Mission
THE ORGANIZATION FOR YOUTH EMPOWERMENT IS A SOCIAL SERVICE ORGANIZATION ASSITING AT-RISK YOUTH IN HONDURAS WITH HIGH SCHOOL AND THE COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS, ACADEMIC TUTORING, LEADERSHIP TRAINING AND TRAINING IN THE ARTS, GRAPHIC DESIGN, SPORTS MANAGEMENT AND COMMUNITY SERVICE TO PROMOTE THE ENVIRONMENT AND TO PROVIDE HEALTHY ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN

- PROVIDE 96 ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS AT HIGH SCHOOL AND UNIVERSITY LEVEL TO LOW INCOME AT-RISK YOUTH IN TAREA SURROUNDING EL PROGRESO, YORO IN HONDURAS. THIS INCLUDED COUNSELING, TUTORING AND OTHER SERVICES TO INSURE THEIR SUCCESS.Expenses $178,038 · grants $154,161
- PROVIDE TRAINING FOR APPROXIMATELY 770 YOUTH IN HEALTH, SELF AWARENESS, SELF ESTEEM, TUTORING FOR EDUCATIONAL ENHANCEMENTS, CIVIC RESPONSIBILITY, ENVIRONMENTAL OUTREACH, AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT.Expenses $85,595
