Mission
A resource for the minority community at large and minority professionals within the securities and investments industry by providing opportunities to share about the securities markets, including functioning as a repository for information regarding current trends, facilitating educational seminars, and creating networking opportunities.
Program accomplishments
- Conferences and Programs. The Annual Pension and Financial Services Conference is NASPs signature event where leaders conduct educational and professional development workshops for the members and others who support NASPs objective, mission and goal of advocating full inclusion of people of color and women in the financial services industry. Also, the Annual Legislative Conference is to educate members on legislative issues and policies that effect our members. At the Diverse and Emerging Manager Forum, CIOs, Foundaion professionals and asset managers gather to discuss diversity and inclusion in the financial industry. The Consultant Retreat provides the space for minority owned asset management firms and consultants to dialogue and develop potential business relationships in a retreat-like setting.Expenses $847,452
