Mission
THE CLIMB FOR CANCER FOUNDATION EXISTS TO IMPROVE THE MENTAL, PHYSICAL AND SOCIAL WELL BEING OF CANCER PATIENTS, SURVIVORS AND THEIR CAREGIVERS THROUGH FUNDING OF ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS IN ARTS, NATURE, SPORTS AND MEDICINE.
Program accomplishments
- THE CLIMB FOR CANCER FOUNDATION PROVIDES SUPPORT TO INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED OR TREATED FOR CANCER. ALSO SUPPORTS MEDICAL STUDENTS, NURSING, PHARMACY, DENTAL OR PUBLIC HEALTH PROFESSIONAL STUDENTS THROUGH THE B. DIANNE FARB HEALTH EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP.
- THE CLIMB FOR CANCER FOUNDATION FUNDED CANCER SUPPORT AND WELLNESS CLASSES, WHICH IS A SUPPORTIVE ONCOLOGY PROGRAM COMBINING PALLIATIVE CARE AND INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE SERVICES ALONG WITH OTHER CANCER TREATMENT PROGRAMS TO BETTER SUPPORT THE NEEDS OF CANCER PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES.
