Mission
"Igbozue CT Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and education of Igbo culture, language, and traditions within Connecticut and beyond. Through cultural programs, educational workshops, and community engagement initiatives, the organization fosters awareness, appreciation, and continuity of Igbo heritage. Its activities include language instruction, cultural festivals, historical lectures, and mentorship programs that strengthen cultural identity and contribute to multicultural understanding. Igbozue CT Inc. operates exclusively for charitable, educational, and cultural purposes, in compliance with Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code."
Program accomplishments
- 1. Igbo Language and Cultural Education Program Services Provided: Conducted periodic Igbo language and cultural workshops for children, youth, and adults to preserve and promote Igbo heritage. Classes included language instruction, storytelling, traditional music, and historical lessons. Persons Benefited: Over 25 participants, including students from diverse backgrounds, attended these sessions throughout the year.

Annual Igbo Cultural Festival & Community Outreach Services Provided: Hosted an annual cultural festival showcasing Igbo traditions, including traditional dances, masquerades, music, cuisine, and historical exhibits. The event also featured guest speakers and intergenerational dialogue on Igbo heritage. Igbo Heritage & Youth Leadership Mentorship Program Services Provided: Organized mentorship sessions and leadership training for Igbo youth, connecting them with accomplished professionals and elders in the community. The program focused on cultural identity, professional development, and leadership skills. Persons Benefited: Over 15 young adults participated in structured mentorship sessions throughout the year.
